PartyPoker Strengthens Fair Play Rules and Bans Cheaters from All Games

PartyPoker is taking a tough stance in the fight against gamblers who cheat in poker, a vice that has reached unexpected heights in recent times. The PartyPoker Tour is scheduled to begin in April of this year, and the platform continues to stress its dedication to fair play to guarantee that all participants remain guided by the same ethical guidelines.

In light of this, PartyPoker’s Game Integrity Team staff will be onsite at the live events to interact with players and ensure that anti-cheating measures are observed. Thanks to this proactive approach, all players, from amateurs to pros, will be shielded against unfair competition.

One step PartyPoker has taken to promote honest play is the establishment of satellite qualifiers, where players may join tournaments for as little as 20p. However, the business has firmly clarified that it would only accept contenders who follow fair play guidelines.

The Blacklist

After years of talking about how important it is to keep the poker ecosystem fair, PartyPoker finally decided to take action in 2022 by instituting the “poker blacklist.” Players found to be involved in any kind of cheating can expect to have their PartyPoker account suspended and excluded from any future live events.

This blacklist is aimed at players who exploit the game by using bots, RTA, ghosting, multi-accounting, or other unethical actions. It also targets those who utilize banned software, such as HUDs. More than $2.3 million in fraudulent player funds have been confiscated by PartyPoker, and over 2,500 accounts have been permanently blacklisted since these safeguards came into effect. To add to the company’s dedication to fair play in the lucrative poker industry, the company has reallocated the confiscated funds to legitimate competitors

PartyPoker’s Push for a Global Standard

A worldwide poker blacklist is something that PartyPoker has proposed developing, suggesting that the company’s influence goes beyond its platform. If this program were to go into effect, it would bar known cheats from participating in any event, whether it be live or online, sponsored by any competing operator. The implementation of such a system faces difficulties with regulatory and practical barriers, but PartyPoker is committed to pushing for a common standard that everyone in the industry must build upon.

PartyPoker has heavily invested in the Game Integrity Team, which closely monitors games for any signs of suspicious behavior and investigates any allegations of potential breaches. In addition to providing comprehensive investigations and openness in its findings, the firm encourages gamers to report any suspicious conduct.
